Speaker 1:

How has this year been for you? It is crazy that 2024 is almost over and it was something that we reflected on on Monday night inside the Fitmind Academy where we reflected as a group on 2024. We looked at the challenges that have shaped us this year and our members looked at how we've adapted to certain things in life and business and their careers, and it was so, so empowering and inspiring to hear everybody share their insights and their wounds and how they overcame certain challenges and, most of all, how they grew from all those challenges. And I think at this time of year is always a good time to look back and reflect and see what has worked, what hasn't worked, what has shifted you in your perspective, how has it shifted you in your perspective? And looking back at like moments of disappointment or challenge and seeing how we grew from them, seeing how they shaped us in some way or form for the better.

Speaker 1:

So, even listening to this podcast, I'm going to ask you have you had moments of challenge or perceived failure or disappointment this year? What did you learn from it? How did you grow from it? And also looking back at who supported you and challenged you to grow this year. So often when we're looking at growth, we think that we should have all the support, and we want all the support a lot of the times, but often it's the people that challenges the most that actually help us really, really grow. So who has supported you and challenged you to grow most this year? Where did you feel most alive this year? What were you doing? When and where have you felt most inspired and most alive this year, and what has that shown you about what's important for you and your purpose, what's important for you and your purpose, what's important for you and your vision? And these are just some of the questions that we deep dived and reflected on and had everybody share their insights, and it was fantastic to really hear how everybody has grown and evolved this year, and it's important to do that because we can look at the things that have worked for us, we can look at the things that haven't worked for us and we can adapt, learn and grow so that we move into 2025, not repeating the same processes. I also shared some of the fears that I had at the start of this year moving out of a long-standing business that I had for nearly 13 years to kind of start again, and it was challenging and it was not without fears and not without anxiety, but I'm extremely grateful that I did that, because it's opened up so many more different opportunities this year and I'm really, really grateful that I overcame those fears, overcame those anxieties and made that decision. So maybe that's something that you've done this year, maybe that's something you're thinking about doing next year. So it's always a good time to look back and reflect and see what hasn't worked, what has worked and what needs to be changed, moving forward.

Speaker 1:

Speaking of moving forward, I have launched a waitlist to join the Fitmind Academy in 2025. The doors will be opening on January again, and what I've done is I've dropped the link to join the waitlist in the show notes below. I launched this academy in September this year and I'm really, really glad that I did, because it was absolutely fantastic. It's been fantastic. There's been a fantastic group of people in there business owners, career driven people, others who are just inspired to think better, perform better, feel better and live a more inspired life and who doesn't want to live a more inspired life? So, if that's you and you would love to live a more inspired life, learn more about yourself, learn the mindset tools, improve your mind, your body, your physiology, your outlook and your vision in 2025, then join the waitlist and I look forward to having a conversation with you about how to make that happen in 2025. As you might have seen, I've been sharing that my one-to-one has been at full capacity, so, but what I do want to let you know about is, in 2025, we'll be opening up again more spaces to work with me one-to-one. So if you're a CEO, if you're a business leader, if you're interested in working, if you're a business leader, if you're interested in working together, then drop me an email and I would love to have a conversation with you and see how we might be able to make that happen in 2025. What's coming up next?

Speaker 1:

The next couple of podcasts coming up are absolutely fantastic. I spoke to Andy Makin, who is the CEO and owner of the Makin Group, a few weeks back and it was a fantastic conversation. I met Andy at an event I spoke out in Cork area this year. We connected and I had him on the podcast and he shared how he had been in the Navy for 20 years, left the Navy and started a small business, and they shared a lot of the insights into how he started that small business and how that business has now grown and expanded globally, literally operating all over the world, and the lessons that he's learned along the way. The insights that he's shared with us in the podcast are invaluable for any business owner or CEO who wants to scale and grow, and he also shared what it takes to operate at the top and the things that he does, the habits that he has and the things that he implements to make sure he's looking after his mind, his body and and keeping himself sharp and focused. A really, really good conversation another podcast is coming up pretty soon is also a fantastic conversation. I had a great chat with claire colvin, who is a co-owner of scale x, and she shared invaluable insights into the world of scaling and what that looks like, what it takes, what the mindset needs to be, how you address the psyche and the vision, and she shared her own insights in her own journey and coming through that path herself, where she started kind of from the bottom and evolved and moved her way up and helped so many other companies and businesses scale, and then the reasons why her and brendan got together to create scale x and now expand that and help so many other businesses scale up two fantastic conversations that I really really recommend tuning into over the next couple of weeks.

Speaker 1:

Lastly, I have um the event with dr john that I want to talk about in belfast. He will be will be speaking at the Titanic Hotel on February 24th in Belfast next year, and the tickets for that have been selling very, very fast. There is a minimum amount of premium tickets left and what we have actually done is we've launched another VIP roundtable due to the demand, because the first VIP roundtable sold out in 24 hours and I've had a lot of people message me and ask me will there be another opportunity? So what we've done is we've created another opportunity for people who want to sit down and have a 60 minute roundtable conversation Q&A with Dr John Demartini before the event starts. You'll have access then to the event and all the good stuff that's going to come along with being at the event as a VIP. But, more importantly, sitting down with Dr Demartini for 60 minutes and leaning from his 50 years of experience in coaching and human behavior and understanding business and much more will be so invaluable. So if that's of interest for you, then again the links are in the show notes and you'll be able to book a space there or, alternatively, book another ticket if it's not the VIP that you're interested in. So really really pumped for that, really really inspired about that, and I'm really looking forward to that event next year.

Speaker 1:

Looking back on my own year this year, it's been been a fast one, for sure. I was chatting to a friend recently, um, on whatsapp, and that was the conversation. We couldn't believe how fast the years actually went on, and if you are listening to this podcast, maybe you're experiencing the same. The years just seem to zip by and I think it's really important for us in general as entrepreneurs, business owner, if you're in a job, career, family, whatever it might be, I think sometimes it's really important to sit back and reflect. I think that sometimes it's really important to actually slow down and to appreciate where you are right now, appreciate what you've maybe done this year and appreciate the journey along the way. Sometimes those months and weeks just fly by and all of a sudden, like now, you're looking back and going where did that year go? And I can't remember who it was I was listening to and they said a big reason for that is because we're so often thinking about the future. We're so often thinking about what's coming up, we're so often thinking about how it might be better in the future, how I'm going to be able to feel better in the future, and we delay the present moment and we're not even present in the present moment a lot of times. So it's important for us to take a step back sometimes and to be present and to look and reflect back in the year and look and see, like how you've evolved, how you've grown, how you've adapted, how you've changed and how, again, you can move forward with those lessons in the 2025.

Speaker 1:

So again, guys, the recap. Um the event for dr john de martini is live. The vip table is now live, also for the new um opportunity to sit down with them. The wait list for the footman academy is also live. I'm going to drop all that into the show notes. And again, if you're interested in working with me one-to-one, if you're a ceo business leader and you're interested in the opportunity to work together next year, then drop me an email. Again, the email address is in the show notes and I'd love to have a conversation with you about an opportunity to work together in 2025. So, guys, again, as always, if you enjoy the podcast. I really appreciate it If you share it, if you can give it a rating on whatever platform you're listening on Spotify, apple, et cetera it really helps the podcast grow and helps me get it out to more people who can learn from the information that I'm sharing from all the fantastic guests around the world and some of the nuggets that I get to share myself. Okay, guys, speak soon. Bye.
